What this tool does

Fill in a title and the optional tags you want. The page writes HTML you can paste into the head of a page. It does not fetch a live URL or check how a site will share the link.

How to use

Enter a title. A blank title is rejected.
Add a description, a canonical URL, robots choices, and any Open Graph or Twitter fields you want.
Press Generate, then copy the HTML.

How it works

The HTML is assembled from the fields you fill. Empty optional fields are left out. A canonical URL, an Open Graph image, an Open Graph URL, and a Twitter image must be absolute http or https URLs. The page does not request those URLs.

Tips

Use the Open Graph fields here when you want the tags in your own HTML. A live share preview is a different check.

Limitations

The title can be up to 200 characters and the description up to 500. Open Graph type is website, article, or none. Twitter card is summary, summary_large_image, or none. A Twitter title without a card is rejected.
