Base64 Encoder
Encode text to Base64 or decode it back, using UTF-8. Anyone can decode the result, so it is not a way to hide a password. A file drop is not accepted.
Decode a JSON Web Token header and payload in your browser. The signature is not checked.
A JWT decoder reads the header and payload of a compact JSON Web Token in your browser. Decoding does not verify the signature or prove the token is authentic.
This tool runs in your browser. Inputs, files and generated values stay on this device. Favorites and recently used tools, if you use them, store only tool names in local storage — never passwords, documents or QR contents. See the privacy policy.
Read the header and payload of one compact JSON Web Token. The signature is not checked.
The first part is the header, the second is the payload, and the third is an unchecked signature section.
The page splits the token on dots and decodes the header and payload from base64url as UTF-8 JSON. A signature section can be reported as present or empty. It is never described as valid or invalid, because this page does not verify it.
Decoding does not prove that a token is authentic. The page does not fetch a signing key.

Pretty-print JSON, minify it, or check that it parses in the page. Comments, trailing commas, and single quotes fail. It does not turn the result into CSV.
Create a SHA-256, SHA-384, or SHA-512 digest of text in your browser. This is a hash, not encryption.
Generate one or many UUID v4 values in your browser using a secure random source.
Encode or decode URL components in your browser with encodeURIComponent.
Convert Unix timestamps to dates and dates back to timestamps, in seconds or milliseconds.
Decoding a JWT does not verify its signature or prove that the token is authentic.
The token stays in this browser. It is not sent, saved, or placed in the page address.
