Die ausführliche Anleitung zu diesem Tool (Bedienung, Beispiele und FAQ) ist vorerst nur auf Englisch verfügbar.
List 3 to 10 dominant colors from a JPG, PNG, or WebP, with each color’s share of the sampled pixels. Use it when you want a starting palette from a photo. The image is reduced to a 96-pixel edge first, so a rare color can be missed.
Most sampled pixels fall into blue-ish buckets. The listed share is the portion of sampled pixels, not a laboratory measurement.
The image is downsampled, then similar pixels are grouped. The listed colors are averages of those groups. This is an approximation from processed pixels, not a mathematically exact palette or print proof.
The photo is reduced to a 96-pixel edge before pixels are grouped, and nearly transparent pixels are skipped. You can ask for 3 to 10 colors. The share is of those sampled pixels. GIF and HEIC files do not open, and a file over 25 MB or a side over 8192 pixels is refused.

Between 3 and 10.
Colors are grouped from a downsampled copy of the image, so similar shades may merge. The percentages describe sampled pixels, not a laboratory measurement.
The JPG, PNG, or WebP is sampled in this tab. The photo is not sent to Tools Star Hub.
