Percentage Calculator
Find percentages, increases, decreases and what percent one number is of another.
Calculate a credit-weighted GPA from letter grades or grade points on a common 4.0 map.
A GPA calculator divides total grade points by total credits. Grade points are the course points times the credits. The page uses one common 4.0 letter map, and a school may use a different map.
This tool runs in your browser. Inputs, files and generated values stay on this device. Favorites and recently used tools, if you use them, store only tool names in local storage — never passwords, documents or QR contents. See the privacy policy.
Add courses with a letter grade or numeric grade points and a credit value. The GPA is total grade points divided by total credits.
An A worth 3 credits and a B worth 1 credit is 15 grade points over 4 credits, so the GPA is 3.75 on this map.
Each course contributes grade points times credits. Those products are added, then divided by the sum of the credits. A zero-credit course adds nothing. If every course has zero credits, there is no GPA to divide.
Schools do not all use this map. Plus and minus letters follow the values listed on the page, not a school catalog.

Find percentages, increases, decreases and what percent one number is of another.
Compare an original number with a new one and see the percent change. From 80 to 100 is a 25% rise; 100 back to 80 is a 20% drop. An original of 0 is rejected.
Convert length, weight, or temperature between units as you type. Currency, area, and volume are not included. A temperature below absolute zero is rejected.
Take a percent off a price and see the amount saved and what you pay. Type plain numbers. A currency symbol is invalid, and a discount above 100% is rejected.
Count years, months, and days from a birth date to today or a later date. An earlier date is rejected. Leap days follow the calendar, not a 365-day year.
Generate random integers or decimals with crypto.getRandomValues, including unique draws.
