What this tool does

Copy selected pages into a new PDF, using ranges such as 1-3,6. The original file on your device stays as it was. A reversed range such as 5-2 is rejected, and the new file can hold at most 80 pages.

How to use

  1. Choose one PDF. The page count is shown after it loads.
  2. Enter pages such as 1-3, 2,5,7 or 1-3,6,9-11, or tick individual pages.
  3. Create a new PDF that contains only those pages, then download it.

Examples

  • A contiguous range

1-3 copies pages 1, 2 and 3 in that order.

  • Mixed ranges

    1-3,6,9-11 copies 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 10 and 11. Duplicates are ignored, keeping the first occurrence.

How it works

Page numbers start at 1. Reversed ranges such as 5-2 are rejected. Empty tokens and values outside the document are rejected. The new file is built locally; the original is not uploaded.

Limitations

Page numbers start at 1. A reversed range such as 5-2 is rejected, and so is a page that is not in the file. The new PDF can hold at most 80 pages. The original file on your device is left unchanged.

FAQ

Is the PDF Splitter free?
Yes. Copying chosen pages into a new PDF is free, with no signup.
Does this delete pages from my original?
No. It builds a separate PDF. Your original file stays on your device.
Is my input sent to a server?
No. The selected pages are copied in this tab. The file is not sent anywhere and not stored in local storage.
How do I extract pages from a PDF?
Enter the pages you want, such as 1-3,6, and download a new PDF that holds only those pages. The original file is not changed.
Can I split a PDF into separate files?
Each run creates one new PDF from the pages you choose. Repeat with a different range for each file you need.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. You can open this page on a phone or tablet. File pickers and downloads use the browser on your device. Large files may be slower on a small phone than on a desktop.
